Customers can view their benefits using their member ID even if they do not have their physical membership card.
Benefits may be used, depending on the event, at online and/or offline locations.

Types of benefits

Shinsegae Duty Free provides three types of benefits: coupons, shopping vouchers, and duty free points.

① Coupon: provides discount for a particular product/brand
② Shopping voucher: is given for making a purchase or participating in an event, with the amount indicated on the front being subtracted from the purchase total when used to make a purchase
③ Duty free points: are given for participating in a purchase amount-based event or other type of shopping-related event and recognized as equivalent to cash

1Guidelines on use of coupons

Coupons are automatically issued to eligible members for use at a particular brand store(s).

Coupon holders can receive a discount at the rate indicated on the coupon. All coupons can be viewed via: My Page > My Benefits > Coupons.

1. Accepting stores: All offline stores (Myeongdong, Busan, Incheon International Airport) and Shinsegae Duty Free Online
2. Issuance method: Automatically by relevant brand
3. Use: Automatically (for relevant brand only)
4. Expiry: Validity period varies by brand

Precautions

Coupons expire automatically after the validity period ends. An expired coupon cannot be used, restored, or converted into/refunded for cash.
Validity period and/or conditions of use may vary by event.
Coupons may not be accepted for some brands/products in accordance with the policy of Shinsegae Duty Free or the relevant brand. For further information on brands for which coupons are accepted, please see: My Page > My Benefits > Coupons > Accepting Brands.
Coupons can be used only if the discounted amount (membership grade, product, coupon) does not exceed 30 percent of the total purchase amount.
If an order made with a coupon is cancelled (in whole or in part), the coupon will be automatically returned to the customer if it is still valid. If the coupon has expired, it will not be returned.

2 Guidelines on use of shopping vouchers

Shopping vouchers are a benefit exclusive to and issued by Shinsegae Duty Free’s offline stores. They can be used at offline stores (Myeongdong, Busan, Incheon International Airport) for only the specified brand(s).Issued shopping vouchers can be viewed via: My Page > My Benefits > Shopping Voucher.

1. Accepting stores: All offline stores (Myeongdong, Busan, Incheon International Airport)
2. Issuance method: Based on participation in events or an event hosted by a Shinsegae Duty Free partner
3. Use: Specified amount is subtracted from the price of a product that fulfills the shopping voucher’s requirements
4. Expiry: Validity period varies by event

Precautions

Shopping vouchers can be used only by Shinsegae Duty Free members.
A shopping voucher can be used only once and only for the full discount amount.
The purchase amount paid using a shopping voucher is excluded from the price thresholds required for purchase amount-based events.
If a purchase made with a shopping voucher is cancelled, the voucher will be returned to the customer if it is still valid.

3Guidelines on use of duty free points

Duty free points are cash-equivalent points that are issued through purchase activity. They are issued by and can be used at any Shinsegae Duty Free store/location (offline and online). Issued duty free points can be viewed via: My Page > My Benefits > Duty Free Point.

All offline stores (Myeongdong, Busan, Incheon International Airport) and Shinsegae Duty Free Online

2. Issuance method

Duty free points (purchase-based)	Based on purchase amount-based event or other shopping-related event
Duty free points (giveaway)

3. Use

Can be used as cash toward purchases of at least KRW 1,000

4. Expiry

Duty free points (purchase-based)	Maximum validity period: two years
Duty free points (giveaway)	Validity period varies by event (one to three months)

Precautions

Duty free points can be used only by Shinsegae Duty Free members.
Duty free points can be used for payments of at least KRW 1,000.
(“Payment” is the amount that is paid via credit card, gift certificate-converted points, or SSGPAY.)If a purchase made with duty free points is cancelled, the points will be returned to the customer if they are still valid.
Duty free points may not be accepted for some products/brands depending on the policy of Shinsegae Duty Free or the respective brand.
This service may be changed or terminated without notice depending on Shinsegae Duty Free’s policy.
